Green Cheek Beer Company is looking for part-time line cooks to work at our Costa Mesa Location. The ideal candidate would have a strong attention to detail, a natural sense of urgency, a deep understanding of cleanliness, ability to take direction well, and strong communication skills.

We are a scratch kitchen with a modern approach to pub food. Popular items include our Food Beast approved smashburgers and our grilled chicken sandwich. We are offering both Part-Time and Full-Time positions, and shifts can range from 8am to 11pm. Weekend availability required. Compensation guaranteed up to $25/hr (starting at $16 plus tips).

Essential Job Duties:

·         Prep ingredients (making sauces, slicing meat, etc.)

·         Keep a clean and organized workspace

·         Maintain a high degree of safety in the kitchen

·         Work collaboratively with all staff to meet company goals

·         Remain focused, positive, and friendly in a fast-paced environment

·         Wash dishes and run food as needed

·         Attention to detail when in preparing and plating food items

·         Regularly deep clean kitchen space and equipment

·         Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

·         Must be at least 21 years of age

·         Some kitchen experience required

·         Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

·         Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with staff members

·         Physical ability to lift, reach, bend, stoop, use hands to handle, feel, and lift up to 40 pounds regularly

·         Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time

·         Must be available to work weekends

·         Willing to be drug tested

Green Cheek Beer Company is a 6-year-old Orange County-based craft brewery with multiple awards at the national and international level. We opened our second location in Costa Mesa in January of 2020 and our new location in Sunset Beach in August 2022, with more locations on the way.

Pay: Guaranteed average, $25.00 per hour (after scheduled training days)
