The Student Life & Outreach office is looking for an amazing student assistant to join our team!  Outreach Student Ambassadors are currently enrolled student leaders from diverse backgrounds who are dedicated to the positive promotion of Coastline College and have a desire to represent and provide excellent service to the college and community.   • PAY RATE: $15.00/HR (max 19.0 hours/week)

 

Responsibilities

  • Represents Coastline College both on and off campus in a professional and socially responsible manner
  • Provides the highest level of Customer Service to all of those who are considered to be Coastline customers
  • Personalizes the college by helping campus visitors feel welcomed, comfortable, and positive about CCC by demonstrating enthusiasm, professionalism, and school pride
  • Helps to share CCC’s programs and services with prospective and current students
  • Assists with student inquiries through phone, email, in person, and other modalities including social media
  • Helps staff college information tables at career and college events, student panels, workshops, and Coastline events
  • Conducts campus tours for individuals and groups

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Be eligible for workstudy
  • Have a driver’s license and transportation to and from events
  • Efficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, email, and Microsoft Office
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to providing services to students remotely
  • Ability to work independently
  • Bilingual
