  • Vocation School training or High School certification
  • Culinary Education Degree, Certification from CIA, or equivalent
  • Basic wine knowledge
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in culinary field with a focus on high volume production
  • Culinary education degree or equivalent experience required with less than 2 years of experience in culinary field
  • Proficient knife skills
  • Proven knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
  • Proven ability to read and understand recipes

 

Signature Fine Dining Culinary

The pay rate for this Signature Fine Dining/Dinner Cook role in California is $28.50 per hour and for this Fine Dining/Demi Chef role in California is $30.50 per hour

  • Vocation School training or High School certification
  • Culinary Education Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the culinary field/high volume restaurant or culinary degree and 3 years related experience

  

Head Baker Pastry Chef

The pay rate in California is $29.00 per hour

  • Previous baking experience, 1-2 years, preferred
  • Strong skill set and experience specifically in cake decorating.
  • Creates and design specialty desserts, show pieces.
  • Leads cake decorating for weddings and special events

 

 

FACILITIES OPERATING SYSTEMS (FOS)

  Electrician-Appliance Skillset

The pay rate for this role in California is $38.48 to $46.85 per hour

  • Must be able to understand and operate under Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines and other food safety/sanitary guidelines. Must also be able to troubleshoot and repair gas and steam systems utilized in commercial kitchen equipment
  • Initial installation and replacement of defective lamps.  Will carry and use common hand tools and ladders.  Must be able to climb (some tasks as high as 200 feet), bend, kneel, and work with hands and arms above shoulder level for extended periods of time.
  • Must have technical electrical competency, and the ability to read and understand detailed instructions, and the ability to pass all compliance-required technical and safety training.  Will walk, kneel, bend, climb and ride a bicycle.  May push vehicles to reposition them for maintenance checks.
  • Requires acute troubleshooting skills, knowledge of high and low voltage, the ability to use common hand tools, meters, gauges and other associated test and measurement equipment.  Must possess the ability to read blueprints, flowcharts, schematics, and engineering documents
  • Requires the use of basic math, the ability to differentiate colors, and an understanding of the National Electric Code.
  • Will be required to attend and pass compliance and other associated training to ensure that correct maintenance documentation is performed.  This requires computer literacy and the ability to evaluate the scope of each job in order to properly determine the needed parts and materials, and to order them through authorized vendors.
  • Must be able to understand and operate under Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines and other food safety and sanitary guidelines.

Maintenance Engineer

The pay rate for this role in California is $36.78 per hour.

  • Proficient in completing digital work orders and using energy management systems
  • Skilled in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical systems
  • 3+ years of experience with hot and cold commercial kitchen equipment
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, control panels, and safety standards
  • EPA 608 or Universal Certification required
  • Able to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and service manuals

 

Machinist Outside-Automotive

The pay rate for this role in California is $40.02 to $48.73 per hour

  • Experience with micrometers, calipers, dial indicators and basic tools required of a machinist
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Familiarity with alignment of pumps and shafts
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Familiarity with the use of PCs
  • Ability to use fall protection, boatswain’s chair, power scaffold, and positioning equipment
  • Experience using standard shop equipment such as a drill press, hydraulic press, grinders, sanders, band saws
  • Experience with hoists, lifting and jacking devices, powered carts (Mules), man lifts and lift trucks

Machinist Outside Non-Automotive

The pay rate for this role in California is $40.02-$48.73 per hour.

  • Journeyman Operating Engineer or maintenance machinist experience
  • Unlimited CFC license
  • Background as a Utilities Man Class A or C, Boiler Technician Class A or C
  • Must have at least 1,000 hours of operating cranes with capacity ranging from 15 tons to 160 tons and licensed by NCCCO Good knowledge of standard crane operation techniques and hand signals are also required
  • Decision-making Skills: Crane operators are expected to use sound judgement and able to determine the appropriate sequence for an operation
  • Physical Dexterity: Crane operator is able to simultaneously control an array of levers and pedals to lift, move, and reposition materials as required
  • Stamina: Operator is able to withstand equipment vibration and long hours of sitting in the cab of a crane as well as standing when conducting rigging operations

 

 Pruner

The pay rate for this role in California is $30.29 to $36.89 per hour

  • Western Chapter Certified Tree Worker (WC-CTW) or the level of ability to obtain a Certified Tree Worker Qualification
  • Must have the ability to safely perform rigging operations under the standards found in ISA/ANSI Z133.1. Must have the ability to gain proficiency and knowledge of different rigging systems.
  • Must have previous experience in tree tagging, tree inspection, recording of data in the field, and on the Access Database Inventory Program.
  • Must have the ability to understand Arboriculture in regard to tree health and structure defects, as well as the ability to input data into the Access computer program

  • Should be able to identify textures and creams by sight (both)
  • Experience with making macaron cookies

Housekeeping Room Attendant

The pay rate for this role in California is $25.50 per hour

  • Previous experience in a luxury Hotel
  • Previous experience servicing and cleaning 13 or more rooms a day including occupied, vacant, and check-out Guest rooms

TENAYA STONE SPA

 Hairstylist

The pay rate for this role in California is $21.13 per hour + eligible for commission of the treatment retail price + eligible for gratuity

  • Previous experience in a Spa or Hotel environment
  • Must currently hold and maintain a state Cosmetologist or Barber license with the state of California

 

  Esthetician

The pay rate for this role in California is $20.42  per hour + eligible for commission of the treatment retail price + eligible for gratuity

  • Must currently hold and maintain Esthetician License with the state of California
  • Previous leadership experience in a spa environment
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Knowledgeable about The Disneyland Resort and surrounding area

Massage Therapist

The pay rate for this role in California is $20.42  per hour + eligible for commission of the treatment retail price + eligible for gratuity

  • Licensed Massage Therapist with the State of California

PARKS

Cosmetologist

The pay rate for this role in California is $25.50 per hour

  • Must have a valid Cosmetology license with the state of California
  • Willing to join the IATSE labor union ($850 union initiation/quarter 1 dues after probation)
  • Lead with a positive attitude and approach challenges head-on
  • Enthusiastic about interacting and working with internal Guests/Cast Members
  • Complete repetitious tasks while maintaining quality
  • Self-directed and able to collaborate on a team

 

 

FACILITIES OPERATING SYSTEMS (FOS)

Pyrotechnician

The pay rate for this role in California is $31.29 per hour

  • 2-to-4 years of pyrotechnic or related experience
  • Basic electrical-systems knowledge and mathematical skills
  • Use common hand tools and hand-held power tools, air-powered tools and air hoses, and common pyrotechnic firing systems including, but not limited to, Pyro Digital Systems
  • Connect modules, firing strips, and to use cables
  • Should currently hold or actively be in pursuit of a Basic Commercial Pyrotechnical License from the California State Fire Marshal
