About the Program
The Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internships (SULI) program provides undergraduate students with the opportunity to work alongside scientists and engineers at U.S. Department of Energy national laboratories and facilities.
Interns participate in hands-on research projects related to ongoing scientific and engineering initiatives while gaining valuable professional experience.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
Be enrolled at a 2-year or 4-year undergraduate institution.
Be majoring in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field.
Be a U.S. citizen or U.S. lawful permanent resident.
Program Benefits
Paid internship with a weekly stipend
16-week spring research appointment
Reimbursement for one round-trip domestic trip to the assigned DOE laboratory
Potential housing allowance (for eligible participants)
